February is one of the shortest months in the year but also the month when love is expressed in view of Valentines’ day. We also know from the word of God in John 15:13 which says “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends”. The friend we have that laid down his life for us is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. A lot of people love God but don’t believe in his son through whom he has proven his love. Unfortunately, we cannot wish Christ away; it is better to embrace the truth and not be against the truth. The question one need to ask is if I die tomorrow and I find out that Jesus Christ is real, then it will be too late to receive him. But if I die having received Jesus Christ as Lord and savior, I have heaven to gain. On the other hand, having received Jesus Christ and for argument’s sake and you find out it’s not true that Jesus Christ existed, you still have nothing to lose. This is what the bible says in John 3:18 ” Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son”. None of the words of God will go unfulfilled. God loves you is why he gave his son to die and through Jesus God showed his love for you and I; this is the Agape kind of love. The love that went the mile of laying down his life when he did not have to but did for our justification. I pray you will experience the love of God that cancels every guilt of sin in your life. This will allow you to work in the freedom that comes from the love of God through Jesus Christ because that is what you truly desire- Freedom! Blessings!
